No Market this Saturday!

We just wanted to let you all know that we are taking this Saturday off from the Petersburg Farmers Market! We'll be back the following week with all sorts of new soaps and hopefully lots of gorgeous flowers! Have a great week!!

Are you ready for some pumpkin?

There is nothing that screams fall more than pumpkin! Pumpkin lattes, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin anything!! I just love pumpkin! (And, banana too, but there's no season for that unfortunately!)



I get super excited when it's time to make pumpkin spice soap! That means it will soon be cooler weather with beautiful leaves changing color!!



This soap has lots and lots of good stuff. I go a little crazy adding stuff to it. I just want to pack everything fall into one bar of soap!



So, we throw in some fine ground oats (yes we grind them up), poppy seeds, cinnamon, and a whole can of pumpkin puree. Talk about good for your skin!! Pumpkin puree has all sorts of fabulous antioxidant power!! And, it's just yummy stuff!

I can't wait for this batch to be ready! Our house smells so full of fall right now! It's awesome!

We're back!

FINALLY!!!! After a month and a half of not biking we were finally able to get back out there and do a little 15 mile road ride!



And, it was so great to be back together on the bike! I treasure our rides. There are no distractions! It's just our time to get some fresh air and exercise!!



The Battlefield is such a great place to exercise. Not many cars, but lots of people enjoying the day! I feel so blessed that we have our health and can be active and enjoy nature! It is a gift!

And then go home and cook up that good stuff you bought for dinner...

On being thankful...

You all know how much I love church signs and quotes! They inspire and make you think. Oftentimes I think God is sending a message directly to me with them. And the other day I happened upon an Instagram account for Madison Avenue Baptist Church. They actually liked one of my posts with a church sign! Well, each week they post their church sign for the week. There were several that really stopped me in my tracks, but this one spoke to me today and I thought I'd share it!

Life can be so busy and hectic that we sometimes only think to ask God to help, fix, make better, etc. But, how many times do we actually go back and thank Him for helping, fixing, making things better, etc.?!?!? Maybe this was just a little hint to start circling back around more and thanking Him for answered and unanswered prayers!

Flower Friday

Even though it looks like it will be a rainy weekend we plan to still be at the market tomorrow with soaps and flowers!
