That barn...

We needed some farm pics for work the other day, so I volunteered to snap a few.

I have always loved this barn/shed...



It's just something about it's simplicity and the weathered red tin roof...



And, then the cows decided to pose for me...



They started to get more comfortable with me the longer I stood there! I may have "moo-ed" a little at them too! Yes, like talking in their "language" somehow comforts them!



The morning sun was just perfect and it really is lovely on the backroads...

Well, this is me at Grandpa's while my parents were gone! Notice the rug is all bunched up and I'm attacking my long lost lamb (long story on that).



I get the royal treatment. I get to hang out all day outside if I want in the air conditioned garage in the chair with my blanket!



Remember, I can go in and out all day and play in my pool whenever. Spoiled? Not me!

And...this is how I liked to sleep while at my Grandparents' house...



Do you see my head propped up on the edge of the fireplace? Crazy, I know!

And...here I am on the chair outside on the porch...lounging around! I know I shouldn't be up here...



I'm so proud of myself! Look at me!



While there last week, I got the opportunity to do lots of things including dig! I'm not looking for anything in particular....just stuff to eat.



But...the best part is what I did yesterday while my B.B. wasn't looking! She was on the phone and not watching me, so I went upstairs and was running around in circles. She said I was laughing at her! I thought she wouldn't catch me...but, when she did I had already found the skein of yarn and was slobbering all over it! Yum!



I played dumb when B.B. found me!



I guess this is why I'm still in the crate when they go out huh? I'm not to be trusted fully yet...I know! I'm still a baby!

Livin' the life

That's me! I'm lovin' my life!



Everyday Mom drops me off with Grandpa (she calls this doggy daycare) and I chill out at the farm! Grandpa turns the AC on in the garage and leaves the door cracked so I can go in an out all day! When I get too cold, I go sun myself, and when I get too hot, I go lay on the cool concrete inside! Life is good!



We go for walks a few times each day! I love to check out the crops. See me in the field?



Look at me in the peanuts! I'm a farm dog!



Grandpa gives me lots of treats too! Mom only gives him 3 bagels a day to give me. I think Grandpa would give me the whole container if Mom and Dad weren't around!

He spoils me! How could he not spoil this face?



Grandpa just installed an outdoor shower for B.B. on the side of the house. B.B. gets really dirty when she works in the flowers and wanted a place to rinse off, but it's really a fun place for me to hang out. Grandpa turns on the mist setting and I lay there cooling myself!





I love water!



Then, the grass is damp and I cool my belly on it!



Can you say 'ROTTEN'?



That's me! And, I love it! I love my Grandpa!

I'm growing...

While my parents went biking I spent the day with Grandpa and B.B. at the farm! I played and played!



I'm up to 7 pounds now, can you believe it?



I sunbathed, played in the dirt, and napped! It was a busy day for me. Of course I took my fishy with me!



I wore myself out running and playing!





I discovered the hose and decided to bark and bite it while B.B. drug it around watering the plants.



When my parents got back from their ride they played with me and of course took out the camera. I just love that music that the camera plays. I come running when I hear it.



That fishy keeps trying to bite me!



Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that I got to go to work with my mom on Friday. We had a nice time! I got to meet a couple of her co-workers. They loved on me, of course!



I had a great weekend! Life is just great for me! I'm 12 weeks old today! I go see my doctor this week for more vaccines! I'm sure she's gonna be proud of how I'm doing!
