yup...another one complete

Can you believe it? Another one!



Last night while waiting for the election results to come in, I worked like a crazy woman to complete this final rug to take to the show on Saturday!



I really love the fabrics in all of the burgundy rugs I've completed! They just go so well with everything!

rug crazy?

Do you think I'm a little obsessed?



Well, Dynamo just finished another beautiful rug loom for me and I just had to try it! He's so awesome!!! My friend was over on Monday so I got her started learning how to make rugs and let her get this one going. And, last night I finished it.



This rug is a little smaller than the others. It measures approximately 19 inches by 30 inches. It's a really good size to fit in a bathroom or in front of your kitchen sink.



The colors are pretty in this one too! I can't decide which rug is my favorite! Now, that I have my new smaller loom I'll be making more small rugs to have 2 size options for people!

Simply Said...thanks!

With a little soft suede cardstock and ink from Stampin' Up!, along with some cardboard out of my recycle bin, this card was born. I tore the top layer of the cardboard to give it a more vintage look and distressed the edges with the ink.

The Simply Said Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! contains this beautiful sentiment in a whimsical-like font. I used the En Francais Stamp Set and the heart-to-heart punch with some very vanilla hodgepodge hardware and twine. This card turned out lovely in its simplicity. I just wanted a little note to let our friends know how much we appreciate them.

Another sneak peak...

Mom, Dad, Dynamo, and I have been working on making some recycled art for the upcoming Bazaar on December 11th!

Since we can't grow flowers outside right now, we're making bottle flowers for the inside.

The pictures just don't do them justice. They are absolutely breathtaking! The best part is they are made from recycled bottles! Come out and see them in person!
