Speed Demon...

This is one of the few non-fuzzy pictures my mom was able to snap of me yesterday. She kept asking me to stop and look at her, but I was too busy exploring.



Mom and Dad saw a lot of my backside as I ran around and stuck my head into things! Everything is so yummy!



Look! I'm a blur...



And again...



Not so bad here though!



I'm really getting fast! And...I am getting my signature "Boston" look!



Did I mention that I'm 8 pounds already?



So, my Grandpa taught me how to descend the back steps! Yes, I know the word "descend."



I thought about showing my Mom and Dad yesterday. I thought really hard!



But, I couldn't pull the trigger! Maybe next time!

Since I wouldn't hold still for more pics, my mom took pics of the flowers! They are tasty!

Lovin' Color

So, a week or so ago I made another batch of the ever-so-popular lavender chamomile soap! This is my TOP seller by far! It is easy to see why! One sniff and you're hooked! It's just so soft and gentle. Even the men like it!



But, this time I wanted to jazz it up a bit with a new color technique I learned.



And...I really like the result! It's more fun and eye catching!



I just love the soft colors of blue, lavender, yellow and cream!



I think it makes it look even yummier!



I can't wait to see what the customers think!



There are two options for customers now! We'll see how the reactions are and that will determine whether I keep up the colors or not.



I personally like the colors. Using color in my soaps really allows me to be creative and different..What do you think?

I'm growing...

While my parents went biking I spent the day with Grandpa and B.B. at the farm! I played and played!



I'm up to 7 pounds now, can you believe it?



I sunbathed, played in the dirt, and napped! It was a busy day for me. Of course I took my fishy with me!



I wore myself out running and playing!





I discovered the hose and decided to bark and bite it while B.B. drug it around watering the plants.



When my parents got back from their ride they played with me and of course took out the camera. I just love that music that the camera plays. I come running when I hear it.



That fishy keeps trying to bite me!



Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that I got to go to work with my mom on Friday. We had a nice time! I got to meet a couple of her co-workers. They loved on me, of course!



I had a great weekend! Life is just great for me! I'm 12 weeks old today! I go see my doctor this week for more vaccines! I'm sure she's gonna be proud of how I'm doing!

Mountain Bike Monday - Can't wait to 'Go Ape'

Over the weekend while Grandpa and B.B. babysat Charlie, we went biking at Freedom Park. We were headed to New Quarter Park, but I directed us the wrong way, so we ended up at Freedom. It's ok, because they are both great parks.



I broke out Spot (the singlespeed) for this ride. Both Freedom and New Quarter are great trails for a singlespeed.



And, I just love my original Spot belt drive. It just fits me good. I felt good at the start, but seemed a little slower than usual. I guess that's to be expected since we haven't done much biking in about 3 weeks. Our baby has had us a little pre-occupied.



The forest was beginning to show its green. The trails at this park flow really well. This was only our second time at the park, but it's definitely worth the trip if you want to check out some new, different riding.



We did see our first snake of the year (on the trail that is). It was a baby. Dynamo ran him over by accident. I got off and planned to hike around him, but another rider came, ran him over, and then the baby slithered away before we could snap a pic.



Navigating to the trails is pretty easy. There is a main access road (multi-use trail, much like a fireroad) that goes down the middle of the trails. You can jump in at various points on the different trails.



We hopped on the end of Trail C to check out the new 'Go Ape' course. This was the perfect opportunity to check out what we'd heard so much about. We saw signs along the trail to watch out for 'Go Ape,' so naturally we headed towards the action. Earlier, when we arrived and got out of the car we heard screams and saw people zip lining across this big field. So cool!!



These people were above the mountain bike trail. We talked to some of them. Here's a guy zip lining into a net!



It really was like Tarzan!



People of all ages were out enjoying the course.



We just stood and watched for a while. We can't wait to check it out for ourselves!

Come on! There was even what appeared to be a bachelorette party happening!



I mean...you are strapped in!



I'm sure we'll check it out sometime soon. They say it can take up to 3 hours to complete. No one was rushing. Everyone was just having fun with each other and enjoying the day. It was a lovely day!



We headed back across the Ferry...





Such a lovely day! We enjoyed the chance to be back on the trail together. I had missed our rides!
