Growing boy
I am really growing fast! Everyday my Mom comes home and tells me I grew some more. It's amazing how fast kids grow, huh? Look at me here! I'm really starting to look like my biological dad, Matt!
My Mom and Dad gave me this rubber duckie! I was so fascinated with it!
I think I might just eat his head off...
Or, maybe his tail...
Yum!
And, Dad took me outside and gave me this bright yellow thing he called a tennis ball! It was kinda furry...
But, tasty!
Sometimes I get a wild hair and think it's okay to grab my parents' pants legs...
They don't like it so much! But...I try to be a good boy!
I love to sleep on my back and I love the sunshine! I guess you could say I'm a sun worshiper!
The yard is getting green and fluffy now!
Lots to check out and try not to eat!
I love my home! The best part is all the playtime I get! My Grandpa comes everyday to spend lots of time with me! The neighbor comes over too! I thought she was not gonna play anymore since I bit her thumb really bad the other day! She was bleeding and crying! It was just an accident! She did come back to play so I was excited!
Did I tell you that I can climb up the back steps now?
I struggle going down, but sometimes my parents let me try!
Hope your Thursday is great!

Back to work...
Here and there I've been able to do a couple of cards and other projects. We've been pretty busy playing with Charlie, so I've not been too focused on creative things. We've been having so much fun with our kid...enjoying him while he's little! You know, these are the most important times in a "kid's" life. According to our research, a 50% of a dog's personality is shaped by its owners. Therefore, we are trying very hard to work with him early on, so he will be a good grownup later. We are working hard to be good parents!
But...I did have a few minutes to work on a couple of cards.
I wanted a special thank you card that was unique, so I decided to paint my version of a camellia. No, they aren't normally purple, but my friend likes purple! And...no, it probably doesn't look like the camellias you are used to, but it's my version. The best part about art is that it can be anything you want it to be. I draw what I see to my eyes when I look at something. I do tend to simplify.
The other day I took Charlie upstairs for the first time to the craft room. I let him sniff around and inspect all of the chaos. He was really good and didn't chew anything. This room has lots of stuff in it, on the floors, on shelves, in stacks...so, he needs to learn early on what he can and cannot touch. He did great! He was a little wiggly while I made this card...
But, he was really patient for a 9 week old puppy. So, I was glad I could make my friend a birthday card this past week! Hope you have a great day!

A big weekend part 2
So, I told you that my weekend was busy! Well, on Sunday we rode up to Richmond to meet Mom and Dad's friends!
As soon as we got out of the car Max and Brendan had to check me out. They weren't overly interested!
We went inside and they stayed back while I played with all of their toys!
Watch out squirrel, you're mine!
It worked for me, but I really wanted to play with them.
Maybe it will take some time for them to get used to me.
I met Elise...
and Mariooocheee....
and Missy and Jim (I'm bummed the picture didn't come in clearer)....
I was pretty tired, so I went and took a nap in Mom's lap!
I even took over Brendan's bed, which I don't think she appreciated...
After our trip to Richmond, Dad had to go to work, so Mom took me to the farm to meet my Grandma Morris. She's 92 and was so excited to meet me.
I gave her love and she held my bone for me while I gnawed! I knew she was fragile, so I was very gentle with her. I was a good boy! My first therapy dog session accomplished!
She was so happy by the time I left!
I played with Grandpa and B.B. in the yard.
I sniffed the flowers B.B. cut. Wow! That lilac smelled good!
I checked out my chair in the garage. You heard me right...it's my chair!Right now it's a little big for me, but pretty soon it will be just right!
and then went in the house and I took a nap on Grandpa's lap.
Before I left B.B. tried to take my picture. I kept attacking the camera and her. I had a busy day, but it was so much fun!
When I got home, my Dad was there!
After all the pictures Mom takes, I'm kinda seeing stars.

A big weekend
So, I had a really full weekend! On Friday evening after Mom got home from work, we walked to the mailbox for the first time together.
Then, Mom and Dad took me to the doctor for my well puppy checkup! All the ladies screamed and fought over holding me.
I felt like a rockstar!!
I got to meet this pretty Boxer named Kelly. She wasn't too sure about me. Everytime I sniffed her she pulled away. Maybe next time she'll give me moochies.
And, then they put me on the scale and weighed me. I gained a whole pound since my appointment on Monday. I'm a big boy at 5 pounds!
I even was so calm when they trimmed my nails.
The only part I didn't like was the thermometer up my butt! I yelped a little! But, then again, wouldn't you?
I was so excited to meet my doctor.
Dr. Kenney is wonderful. Did I mention how awesome she is? She loved me and hugged me.
She really loves animals. I can totally tell.
That place was actually pretty fun! Those ladies are so friendly. I know my Momma and Daddy would recommend them! It's really important to them that the people at the doctor get excited over seeing me. I'm their baby, you know!
It was so much love and excitement that I fell right asleep. First, in Dr. Kenney's arms, and then in my Dad's...
They took me home and played with me some more! They sure do like to play a lot.
On Saturday morning we played outside for a while.
I really like this mini football. It's just my size...
Too bad this pic didn't come in clear. I liked to go airborn with the football.
Then, Mom kept trying to make me fly.
I do love to leap off the step. Isn't that getting air in basketball terms?
I'm so funny. Clearly, I'm showing off for the camera!
Watch out! I'm going to be a trick dog someday!
My Mom's friend at work sent me this little bed. I really love it! So, after I played I napped. Kinda like a human huh?
We got a surprise visit from my "cousins" Madison and Jordan...
Boy, they sure did love up on me!
That one in the purple held me a lot. I think she liked me or somethin'!
I gave out lots of moochies...
My Aunt Lisa even got love...
I love my tug toys! Jordan liked to play with me lots...
Tug! Tug!
I'm not supposed to be on the furniture, but my cousins put me there, so it wasn't my fault!
I was so tired after my visit that we all had to nap. Tomorrow, I'll share my adventures going to Richmond and the farm!
