A big Thursday for me
This is my last update for my first week with my Mom and Dad. I have had such a big week. Yesterday was no exception. My Grandpa and I played again most of the day. My Grandma, who I call B.B., came over for lunch with Grandpa. I was so tired from playing that all I did was nap during her visit. She petted me a little!
Then, when my parents came home we spent all evening in the yard.
I have learned how to eat branches! I'm not sure why my parents are always telling me "No"! They sure do taste good and when they tell me "No" I kinda smile and do it again. I'm a little devil!
See!
Just a little snack...
Do I look guilty or what?
I've learned how to take flight off the patio! I back up and then take a flying leap off the step. I'm quite brave and adventurous.
And, I've figured out how to climb 2 of the back steps!
I even learned what a camellia is...
And, a dafodil (it made me sneeze!)...
And, even this thing that Mom called a tulip tree. All I knew was there was pink petals everywhere. They looked yummy!
I played with my Mom while Dad cut the grass.
She took my picture a lot. I thought it was funny, so I posed...
We ran and she kept trying to get me to do something. She kept saying the word "Fetch," but all I wanted to do was chew!
I'm such a good model!
Think I could make a calendar one day?
Maybe I could be a show dog?
I'm just so cute...
And, I helped my Dad rake leaves...
Well, maybe I just distracted him a bit...
Well, he raked and I watched, sniffed, and chomped at times on them!
I was so pooped that I had to nap on my mom's lap.
Did I tell you I am not afraid of the lawnmower? It's kinda cool to be on top of the world! It makes a lot of noise, but I'm not afraid!
I have a lot of trust in my parents. I know they take good care of me. My Mom takes a lot of pictures, though. I go running towards her when I see the flash and hear the click.
Here I come, Mom!
After my nap the neighbors came over for an introduction. Molly, the shih tzu, wasn't very friendly. She wouldn't play with me. Honestly, she was kinda standoffish!
Did I smell funny or something?
She looked different than me. Kinda like a mop!
We touched noses a little, but she just tried to walk away...
That's ok because I got her. I'm really smart already, so I grabbed her leash and started playing tug-of-war with her.
I walked her around. Ha! Yet again proving the intelligence of my breed!
That's ok, because I met my Auntie Kim, Uncle Josh, and my favorite cousin, Katelyn.
She carried me around a lot and let me mooch all over her. She said she'd come back to check on me daily. I can't wait. I LOVE her long hair! Yum!
After they left I was pretty pooped, so I took a nap on my mom's neck again. Then we played some more and we went to sleep. I only got up once last night. I was a good boy. No accidents! I know to go outside already!
Well, I can't wait for more adventures this weekend. I hope it doesn't rain too much! That affects my outdoor time you know!
I'll be back next week with more stories I'm sure. I just love being with them.
