some flowers...
or soaps...
or snaps...
or breads...
or granola...
or eggplant...
or stinky garlic...
or tomatoes and basil (what a combo...can you smell it now?)....
or coneflowers and other sorts of pretties for the yard...
or (of course) cantaloupes and melons...
or even radishes (I'm still not so sure about those things!)...but they are so pretty...
or potatoes...
or just head out with a box full of goodies like this guy...
Have I made you want to stop by yet?
I mean...look at all you can buy grown right here locally!!
Don't you just wanna come out and see all the cute kids and dogs and visit with your neighbors?
Isn't that what the market is about? Finding a sense of community..creating a place where people (and fur children) can gather with one another...
Every week my Mom's friend, Laura, brings her a jug of sweet tea and we also get lots of books she hunted up for us at yard sales!! Isn't that thoughtful?
And...Charlie just looks for Emma! It's like he is mesmerized by her! Aren't they a cute couple! I saw they are headed out for a night on the town...he in his tux and her in her evening gown...
At the market...it's all about the dogs!
Can you tell?
And...speaking of animals...
I wanted to share with you the thank you note from the SPCA!
Ms. Brown came down on Saturday morning to personally thank us (and that means all of you) for the generous donation to their organization! THANK YOU for caring! Little things do make a difference!
We'll see you on Saturday at the Market! Be there or be square!!!!!!
Ruff! Ruff!!
