Hillary's "Gain" Soap

"Gain" Handmade Soap by The Daily Scrub for Hillary O'Dell Photography

From what I understand Hillary has a just a tiny obsession with Gain detergent! She adores that fragrance! So, when she messaged me I told her I needed to do a little research and I'd get back to her!

After a little research, I was sure I could make it happen! She was thrilled! We talked about the look she wanted and her purpose for the bars!

She wanted some mini bars for her clients and some large bars as well! She wanted a seafoam green color with soap curls and sticks. She chose poppy seeds for the exfoliant! The bars turned out perfect if I do say so myself!

My entire house smelled like Gain after this batch! It really is a nice fragrance!

The color is perfect. One that I'm sure I will recreate for another bar later down the road!

Here's a little excerpt about Hillary from her website:

"Hey there! My name is Hillary and I LOVE photography. I have an amazing husband, Jody, and two babies, Chloe and Cameron, that are the lights of my life. My goal is to capture you. Crazy, funky, chic, whatever makes you, you. I love photos that make me feel something. My inspiration comes from the miracle of a new life, the beginning of a couple's journey, the bond of a family. These are the moments to remember and the ones I want to capture for your family. A photo should capture a moment and a memory. So, take a seat and look around. I hope to see you soon."
