Turtle Crossing

My mom and dad were busy going about their evening work and all of a sudden Dad tells Mom to come outside!



They start pointing at this thing on the driveway and saying "Turtle, Charlie! Look"



Dad and I inspected it together!



I really couldn't tell what all the fuss was about. So, I sniffed the thing from all sides and then I couldn't help myself! I just decided since they thought it was a big deal maybe I should too. So, I started barking about it! I figured that would make my folks happy!







The thing was so scared that it didn't do anything but hiss when Mom picked it up to move it. She said we had to move it in the direction it was heading to save it!



Back in the house Mom said it started to move again finally. I was over it! No biggie to me! I chase creatures all the time and that thing wasn't nearly as exciting as a frog or lizard! Back to napping I went!
