almost time...

...for the craft show tomorrow!!

Soap Sampler

I've been putting the finishing touches on things including making some soap sampler bundles and labeling all of my soap!

Lavender Chamomile Soap

I really think it makes a difference to label everything individually. That way if someone gives the soap as a gift and the person wants more then they can find it easily because my contact info is on there.

Wakeup Soap

I even made a couple more wreaths!

Hopefully, there's a little something for everyone when they stop by the booth!

Momma is bringing her beautiful recycled plastic bottle flowers, which are totally awesome!

So, wish me luck! And...if you're in the area stop by the Apples and Arts Craft Show at Woolridge Elementary in Midlothian from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. tomorrow!

golden shells

Gold Shell Wreath

My Mom asked me to make one of her friends a Thanksgiving/Holiday wreath
with shells on it. They live at the beach, of course!

I honestly love this color combination with the shells!

Gold Shell Wreath 4

It's very festive and could stay on her door from now until after the new year! It's holiday neutral! Simply Fall!

Hope you like it!

shells please

I decided to combine some shells with my latest Christmas wreath!

Shell Wreath 5

The ribbon I chose to use was not traditional in color so I decided to step out and add some shells to attract some sea lovers!

Shell Wreath 3

And, the shells came straight from one of our many shell hunting excursions while visiting Mom and Dad Chieppa in Florida! No, I didn't find the starfish, but they are real and I bought them at a great little shop on Anna Maria Island! I have a slight obsession with shells and sand dollars. I just can't seem to get enough of them. It's a little ridiculous. Right, Mr. C?

more wreaths and flower pins too!

Green Holiday Wreath

I just love old sheet music! I have collected lots of it from my various thrifting and yard saling adventures. It's great to use in projects. Often, I use lots of it on my cards.

Green Holiday Wreath

I think it looks great on a holiday wreath too! And...this green is a great green too! Not just any green will do!!

Red Holiday Wreath

And...love this fantastic red!

Red Holiday Wreath

These wreaths are all vintage! Old sheet music, ribbon, lightbulbs, Santa, candy canes, and birds! I love old stuff as you can tell!!

Santa looks so much better "old school style" don't you think? Ever looked at the old children's books and cards? They are fantastic happy/jolly colorful illustrations! Fabulous!

But, switching gears....

Felt Flower Pin

These cool felt flower pins turned out good I think! They can be a hairclip or a jacket pin! They really would add some color to your day huh?

Felt Flower Pins

And...check out these hairclips/pins made from old tee shirts!

Recycled Tee Shirt Flower Pin

They are a little wilder! I just love red!

Have a great weekend!

holiday wreaths

Wreaths 004

I thought I'd share with you a couple of wreaths that I just completed! I was so pleased with how they turned out! Hopefully my customers at the craft show will like them too!

For this one I used vintage Christmas items. Don't you just love Santa and the snowman?

And, for this wreath I used a mixture of ribbon flowers and burlap to give it great texture. This wreath is holiday without being too Christmasy (is that a word?)

I had to add some bling...
