Mountain Bike Monday - Park Ridin' Again
Finally....back at Poco on the trails! It had been a long time since we hit Lakeview together...
There were a couple of new obstacles and re-routes. The trails were nice and dry even after the storms we had!
Dynamo and I had been so focused on preparing for the Cap 2 Cap ride that most of the riding had been on gravel and road.
Even though it is nice rolling on the road, I still love the singletrack.
We enjoyed the lovely Saturday night air just riding and talking and picture taking. There were a couple of road blocks...
These blocks allowed us to get off the bikes and grab some water. I also rode without my Camelbak. It's amazing how much weight you loose without that thing!
We got to "Little Moab" on LV2. My favorite part!
It is so fun to roll down those rocks...
Now that I finally feel confident doing so...
Along the way we encountered this big fallen tree...
And this...
Just a reminder...these trails are built and maintained entirely by volunteers. So as you ride try to move some debris if you can.
I was super excited about this new berm...
It really smoothed out this trail section. Makes for faster rolling...
It was a great ride on a great night. When we rode past the campsites it smelled soooo good. I just love summertime at the park.
