Did someone say seashells?
Two of some of my favorite things...
Shells and cupcakes!
They turned out so pretty! I am super pleased with the colors and varying looks of these 6 cupcakes! Again, no two soaps are ever the same!
What scents would you like to see in a cupcake soap?

Headin' to the tropics...
I was super excited to make another batch of Tropical Waters soap!
This bar is one of my prettiest, I believe!
The colors and the shells are just so lovely and soothing!
It's just a fun bar of soap to make because I get to add extra special shells to the batch. It can sometimes be difficult to get the shells placed just right so you don't cut through the middle of them. It's sometimes just a guessing game!
I am so pleased with the result and I know my customers at the market this summer will love it too! If you know someone with a beach house, this is the perfect little gift for them!
What is your favorite scent from The Daily Scrub?

Last bit on Riverrock!
We went down to Riverrock on Saturday to try to catch Marioochee and Clay in the mountain bike race! It was really rainy and muddy! We got to see the guys briefly fly by us on the trail and then at the finish after they were cleaned up!
Charlie got to walk around some and visit with some of his friends!
There were lots of people checking out the paddleboarding demos...
We had a fun time just walking around checking out the vendors and scenery.
When it started to rain, we hit the road!
Such a lovely event in Richmond. Be sure to check it out next year!

Ruffwear 5K Mud Run at Riverrock!
Friday was a big day for Charlie! He was registered to compete in his first official race with his human, Dynamo! So, we picked up Dad and Mom and headed to Richmond for the Riverrock Festival and Ruffwear Filthy 5K Mud Run!
Charlie was excited and ready to run!
He had rested all day to be ready for the 3.1 mile off-road run with his buddy Brendan and her human, Elise! We got there and he could hardly wait!
The Riverrock is a three day festival downtown on Brown's Island! They have all sorts of outdoor events going on throughout the weekend!
Including this guy walking on this...
Across the canal!
Wow! Those slackline skills are awesome!
And, here are my parents with the racers!
And, here's Charlie's running buddy, Brendan, her human, Elise, and our other friend, Rachel!
Brendan was doing her warmup! Elise would yell, "Squirrel!" and Brendan would start barking up the tree literally!
Silly girl!
And, Charlie's warmup...
The racers lined up and the crowd got in place!
Here's Marioooochheee acting goofy with Rach!
The cheering section...
Then, they were off. Here's the first wave of dogs and their humans!
See Dynamo and Elise...
See Elise and Brendan...
After they set out on their 3.1 mile journey, we walked over to the finish line to find a place at the mudpit!
We watched all sorts of crazy dressed people and their animals come through the mud!
Everyone was having such a great time!
Then, it was time...in the distance...there's Dynamo...
The first sign of Charlie coming out of the mud pulling Dynamo!
There they are...
Ta Da... Charlie trying to give his dad a mooch!
Finally, a chance for the little man to get dirty on purpose!
Look at that leap out of the pit!
And, then came Elise and Brendan!
Clearly the dogs are super excited!
Stopping to check out things...
And, there's the smile...
Sooooo proud of them!
Great job!
They had such a good time! Dynamo said that Charlie even swam for the first time during the race! Apparently, Brendan had to be carried! What a good mom, Elise.Look at that smile!
A couple of family pics!
Here's Mariooochhee with his girls!
And, Dynamo and Charlie rehydrating after the race...
Dirty boy!
Elise and her dirty girl!
Rachel decided she'd keep her distance from the muddy people!
We visited and watched a few more come across the line!
The kids got their rewards...a bully stick!
Did a little mooching!
Washed off...
And, donated shoes...
A great day with friends and family! Charlie loves RVA!
And, when we got home he got a really good bath!
Thanks so much, Elise and Brendan for a great time together!
