Mountain Bike Monday - Rainy Ride
Our ride yesterday started out nice. The Battlefield was lush and green! We figured we'd stick close to home since it might rain.
It was real humid so we knew a storm was brewing! Nevertheless, we kept onward with our ride! That is until we had to come to a screeching hault for this thing...
I almost didn't see it and Dynamo almost rear ended me because I neglected to yell in time, but we did stop thank goodness.
After he finally made it to the other side, we continued on with our ride!
The sky was getting darker and darker, but we thought it would pass! Little did we know the bottom was going to fall out!
It started to rain and then it poured! We were a couple of miles from the car, so we just enjoyed it! Honestly, it felt so good! No worries about messing up your hair here! It was just so refreshing after having such humidity earlier in the ride!
We got back to the car and we were soaked! We could wring out all of our clothes! But...it was fun! Sometimes you just have to stop and enjoy the moment!
