Trip to High Bridge
Over the weekend we took a quick trip to Lynchburg, and on our way back we stopped in Farmville!
Here's mom and Dynamo!
Here's mom, dad, and Dynamo!
We grabbed a bite to eat at The Bakery! Yummy!! Charlie had to wait outside while we ordered of course!
Town was certainly a busy place on Saturday!
While we shopped "The Bone Yard" (scratch and dent/overstock at Greenfront) Dad and Charlie waited patiently on the corner!
After lunch we headed out to High Bridge! Remember last year when we visited the bridge and trail? We wanted to show my parents this marvel!
We had to walk about a mile to get to the bridge!
Charlie had a ball visiting with the other dogs and passersby!
Dynamo posed Charlie at the start of the bridge (notice in the pic Dynamo is giving Charlie his instructions)!
Ta da!!
The bridge was amazing!
Charlie says "Come on, y'all!"
More moochies!
It was really high up!
Group shot (always minus 1)
Charlie decided he wanted a break from walking...so, he just rolled over!
Gorgeous!
The Appomattox River flows below!
The day was perfect for a walk with family!
And the bridge was obviously good for a back scratch!
Yes, I am the star!
And, I was super excited to try out this awesome new lens that Dynamo got me for my camera (my anniversary present), so this trip was the perfect opportunity to do so!
I think the pics turned out lovely! I love my new lens! So, more tomorrow on our Anniversary Bike Ride!
