Here birdie birdie

Can you see the three little birdies in this picture? The momma bird decided to make a little nest at the top of the column on my parents' porch. Dynamo stood on a chair to take the picture being careful not to disturb them and upset momma bird. They were residents until yesterday when it was time for them to leave the nest and fly into the big world. Two of the three figured out how to fly, but there was one little one left who couldn't quite figure out how to fly. Mom said by the end of the evening it had flown away. Isn't that a miracle? I guess sometimes it takes a while for every one of us to figure out how to fly.

Isn't it amazing! Birds are indeed fascinating. They have that instinct that allows them to go from being nearly just born to soaring through the sky. We have lots of interesting birds and nests around our house. Blue Jays, Cardinals, Robins, a couple of loud Bared Owls, Hawks, and I even had an Eagle in our front yard one time.

There are some amazing things that animals can do. Of course as people we can't fly but I think it is just as amazing the way we learn to speak just by listening to our parents speak.
