March Boston Terrier Meetup Recap!

On Saturday morning we headed to the Richmond Boston Terrier Meetup at Dorey Park! Charlie was so excited he just couldn't contain himself!





There were two fenced in areas. One for little dogs and one for big dogs!



When we got to the park he just knew it was playtime! The first thing was to get acquainted with everyone!



There's lots of loving!



The humans and the BTs must meet too!



It didn't take long for Charlie to find the pool!



Minnie (a Hokie) also loved the water! They became fast friends!



Some of the BTs got excited at the action in the big dog area!





They ran and played. Charlie loved for the others to chase him! He sure is fast!





This dog spent lots of time cooling off in the pool! Charlie wasn't sure what he was doing!



Then, when new dogs were getting ready to come in...ambush!







Dynamo tried to get Minnie to climb the obstacle! She was very interested in the squeaky!



She didn't want to share the squeaky! Charlie was ok with that. He doesn't like confrontation!



Then, Dynamo tried to get Charlie to go over the jump. He kept going under. Finally, he got it!



And, up....







Sparkle was another friend of Charlie's. He met her and her Mom at the Dog Walk.





Sparkle was telling Charlie secrets!



But...Charlie made everyone laugh when he was the loner in the pool chasing his own splashes. Even the people in the big dog area were laughing at him! Such a comedian!





When we finished and got back in the car, Charlie was ready to relax!



A fun time was had by all! Especially the Little Man!

Boston Meetup

Mom and Dad took me to my 2nd meetup on Saturday!



There were lots of others just like me. It was like looking in the mirror!



Mom and Dad kept losing track of me. They said I blended in! Nothing but black and white streaks running everywhere!



This little guy wasn't like the rest of us, but he sure was funny! He really has a big head! Look at it!



I had a big time with all my buddies!



All I wanted was for someone to chase me around! I wasn't interested in the gang activity! Notice I'm running away here...

Here I am waiting to find my next playmate! Notice my lip is a little beat up already! I had an altercation with someone...



These guys were relentless over that toy...



Silly Bostons!



This is Sophie. She was a little grouchy, so we only said a brief "hello."



And, here's my favorite buddy, Dozer! We had a blast playing after everyone left!



I was so dirty that my parents had to hose me off before we left. We played for over an hour! I was beat! I can't wait until next month!

A playdate

My parents took me to a Boston Terrier Meetup over the weekend and boy did I have fun!

As soon as I arrived we all started greeting each other!



Most of the other Bostons knew each other. I was the newbie! Once I got the hang of things, there was no stopping me!



Mom and Dad kept losing track of me. We were all wearing tuxedos, so we all blended in!





There were a few oddballs too! That is...dogs that didn't have tuxedos!



This Frenchie was funny!



I had a blast and towards the end of the playdate found a new friend, August! He and I had a great time playing in the mud!



I was a mess!

You can't even recognize me for all the dirt!



I can't wait to go back next month!





I hope August will be there again! Maybe I'll have to get my parents to email his dad!



I was so covered in dirt that my parents had to hose me off before we left the dog park!
