Fun times at Dorey Dog Park!
Another meetup for me on Saturday!
Mom and Dad took me to "playdate" last Saturday! I knew I remembered that word, but it wasn't until we pulled up that I could barely contain myself!
The others were crazy over the stick, especially the red Boston named Penny!
I mean, look that those two discussing the stick! So serious!
And, here's that chick, Penny, with Miles! He's part BT you know!
She really can get some air can't she! The flying BT! It's like she's a circus dog huh?
I had to share my dad with the others! They really did like him. Well, I don't blame them. He's pretty awesome!
Some like to roughhouse a little! Silly dogs!
Me...I was focused on the water. The only thing was that the pool had a crack in it so the water didn't stay for long! Oh, well...I know my parents were happy I was staying fairly clean!
I am convinced that BTs are more interested in humans than their species! We just flock to humans for attention. It really doesn't matter which human...any of them are fine!
Case in point above!
Here I am on the prowl...looking for trouble! Really...who wants to chase me now?
I kinda had a thing for the boy on mom's lap! His name was Hoss! He was a lover! I liked him so I pestered him a bit!
Come on...let's play?!?
And, I loved the end when I got to drink from the special doggy fountain! WOW! I wish I had one of these at home!
It was a fun time. I could have played a lot longer. Until next time!
When we headed to the car I spotted these things. I was trying my best to get over there to chase them! They looked funny!
It was a great time! I love meetup days! Dorey Dog Park is so awesome!

Mountain Bike Monday - Gravel Grinding
We broke out our gravel grinders and hit the trails and some road at the Battlefield over the weekend.
After last weekend with the girls, I felt pretty comfortable mapping out a route for us that included all of the packed trails and some road.
So, off we went. And, we rolled! I sure do love rolling fast on those hard-packed trails at the Battlefield. You really can fly!
Dynamo was there to officially take pics of us while riding. Yes, I know it's not the safest thing, but I wanted some pics of both of us together!
No worries...luckily no one was hurt. Just some laughing and tire smooching!
There were fewer horses on this ride, so we had limited stopping.
We had a great time just rolling! We rode every single trail they had and some twice, along with park road!
You can really roll at the Battlefield! The trails are so nice and packed in most places. Now that I understand the trail markers it's a lot easier to navigate!
Looking forward to going back again soon! Good off-road consistent spinning!
We had fun just being together getting out and enjoying the day!

Touring the Industrial Park
We loaded up the little man and headed over to the Industrial Park in Prince George to get in a few miles with my mom's co-workers. There is a small group that get together each week to get a little biking in, so we decided to join them for a spin.
Dynamo rode ahead with my mom's boss, so I stayed at the back with Charlie.
It certainly wasn't as easy as it looks! Note Dynamo ahead with no hands! Dynamo makes it look easy when he pulls Charlie, but it's about 35 extra pounds to "carry" and it does make for a little extra training weight. I felt it most on the hills, especially on the one that one of the ladies calls "Goya Mountain"!
After about 14 miles the others packed up and headed out, but we stayed to ride a little further. In the evening there's not much traffic at the park and the speed limit is low, so it feels pretty safe. People seem to be used to seeing bikers.
In the above picture in the distance is the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing! You might want to read up on this place and all the cool things happening!
And, above is a picture of Rolls-Royce. Cool place!
Lots of activity going on in PG County! Land being cleared and lots of action. Hopefully that means more jobs. Right here in our backyard we've got all this excitement. Who would've thought!
We wrapped it up with over 22 miles. I really could feel the difference when I got off the bike after pulling Charlie that far! The little chariot doesn't look that bad, but it's a good workout! I think I'll still let Dynamo pull him most of the time!

Back in the chariot again!
Last week we took an evening to hit the Park Tour Road at the Battlefield with Charlie!
It was nice to be back in the chariot with our little man! He went right in just like old times!
He's usually a good sport about things so we expected nothing more than a positive reaction!
There were several runners and others moving around the park. It was a lovely evening for a spin!
Even with Dynamo carrying the extra weight I still couldn't keep up with him and his sidekick, Charlie Boy! Charlie would shift to look out the back trying to keep his eye on me. I'm sure I was a little spec in the distance to him a lot of the time!
Nonetheless, I pedaled onward! And, when we finished we checked out the cannons again! Charlie had to practice his balancing skills!
He's not the same size he was last year when we were riding. Here's the pic from last June...
Nope...won't fit in there anymore! Here's today...
Look at him...he is happy just hanging out anywhere with us...
He had a big time back at the Battlefield! Nice cool evenings are great for rides with the little man!

Mountain Bike Monday - Ladies Ride at the Battlefield
My friends and I met up at the Battlefield on Sunday for a trail ride! While us ladies rode the guys headed out to Poco for their ride!
My friend, KE, rides the trails often so she agreed to take us on a tour of the Battlefield off road!
It was a lovely day for a ride. The park was green and lush and there were lots of visitors to the park. And, there were artillery exhibits too! There was a Boom every now and then!
We encountered lots of horses and their humans, along with Charlie's veterinarian.
I was attempting to be as talented of a photographer as Dynamo is, but not so successfully!
Knock on wood I didn't fall off the bike!
My friend, EV, is so funny! She always tells me no pictures! I told them they signed a disclaimer and therefore I'm allowed to take pics! I promised to only post good pics!
So...EV made me pose for a pic in return!
We had so much fun talking and laughing! It was a lot of fun just wandering around the park with two friends on a great day!
I'm hopeful we can do more ladies rides!
Thanks, KE, for the tour!
