There she was...disturbed from her rest by Dynamo and the weed eater the other day. I couldn't believe it when I saw her. We've had lots of praying mantises this year. Even itsy bitsy ones. This must be the biggest of all praying mantises! Then, after I snapped this photo I walked around to the patio and there he was...

And, I thought you might like to see these pictures. Dynamo has been very attentive to our raised bed filled with beautiful sunflowers. I think he's done a fantastic job. They are so pretty!
