The Gingerbread Man...

We usually only have one beer soap on hand at a time, and for the Christmas season it was most appropriate to choose the ever-so-popular Hardywood Park Craft Brewery's Gingerbread Stout.



Dynamo actually came up with the idea for this batch, which incorporates these adorable gingerbread men into each bar! He's quite clever don't you think?



When Dynamo went to pick up the beer, the guy in the store said that making soap with this awesome beer wasn't so strange after all. Apparently people have been making cakes with it too!! I know to many of you die hard beer drinkers it's quite the sin to use perfectly wonderfully delicious beer for soap, but I promise you, it's awesome!



We used all beer instead of water in our traditional recipe that you all know and love; added some coffee grounds for exfoliation, and worked our magic to make it smell like hazelnuts and toffee. It really is yummy! Good enough to eat!



Did I mention this soap is non-alcoholic too?!?!?


Also...many people pick up our beer soaps and expect them to smell like beer. Guess what? They don't. Each one has a very unique smell and we try to make them appeal to everyone.

Everyone loves handmade!

Talk about an awesome show last Saturday!! It was a GREAT day at the Richmond Craft Mafia's Handmade Holiday event at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery!



We were so excited to be a part of this annual show. People came from near and far to shop, socialize, and taste some awesome brews! And, we are so grateful to each of you who came out and supported us! We wouldn't be here without you, our loyal customers!

Spring Bada Bing

We were so excited to be invited back again this year to the Spring Bada Bing at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery! It was a lovely event with lots of people supporting local and handmade!

Our neighbors were Awl Snap! Super friendly with lots of great leather goods! Their leather beer bottle koozies were a hit!

The Bucket Trade

We love our retail partners! And, we're so happy to have a new retail partner, The Bucket Trade!



Aimee and James, husband and wife owners of The Bucket Trade, contacted us about our beer soaps after a couple of our customers told them about it! Wow! Hardywood Park Singel Beer Soap

I'm telling you! Beer soap really is one of the most moisturizing bars! All of that barley and hop deliciousness along with the oats make this bar a favorite!



Don't be fooled! This bar isn't just for men! Women really love it too! The unisex fragrance is great!



And, for Valentine's Day this is the perfect gift for the beer lover in your life! Especially someone that loves local craft brews! Paired with a six pack of Hardywood Park Singel Beer, you've got yourself just the right thing for that special person in your life!



In our house the best part about making the beer soap is that we get a little extra to taste test before we make the soap!!We always put a little aside!!

Fun Times at Fool For Art!

What a great time we had at Fool For Art on Saturday!



Dynamo helped me get the tent set up on Friday and then Mom came to help me set up early on Saturday!



I was so glad to have help because it took lots of effort to set up that display! Didn't the black tables that Dynamo built me look great?!?! They were fantastic!

Thank goodness my family was there! Whew! I was worn out by the end of the show on Saturday!



The beer soaps were a hit!



As were the cupcakes!



We had lots of shoppers and visitors. The day was packed with people, music, and fun!



I was so honored when the kids would come up to ask questions and then would decide to spend their money on a bar of my soap. You know kids can choose to spend their money on lots of things, so for them to choose my soap was an honor!



































The fellow vendors nearby were so friendly and helpful! Fool for Art is a nice atmosphere for families to come and enjoy themselves. Lots of food, activities for the kids, and free stuff too!



I offered soaps wrapped and unwrapped. Everyone chose unwrapped!



We had a great time and I'm looking forward to returning next year to the event!

Hardywood Park Coffee Beer Soap

Super excited about this newest creation!

A local brew combined with great oils make for a super awesome bar!



I guess you could say this is a man soap, but to me it's a unisex fragrance. It's very natural and you would never guess it's beer soap if I hadn't told you!

I also ground up some whole grain oats to add to the batch for some extra moisture and exfoliation.





































Just beautiful in my opinion! What do you think?





































I can't wait for this to finish curing and be for sale. This will be a specialty bar and will sell for $1 more than the regular bars.
