My first beach trip!

To celebrate Father's Day we got to go to the beach! Mom said we were going to First Landing State Park at Virginia Beach! This was another big trip for me! It was my first trip to the beach and I was so excited! Grandpa held me for a while so I could look out the window!



It was amazing. There was white stuff everywhere that Mom and Dad called sand! It stuck to me!

I immediately wanted to go check out the water!



I was fearless! I kept chasing the foam from the waves!





There was so much to explore and do!





Then, my Dad came out with me to play!





It was chilly, but that was ok for me!







I loved to roll in the sand!



I picked up everything to taste!





Look at my face! Mom said I was a mess!



I even dug for stuff too!



Mom made me slow down for a picture! I didn't want to stop for one minute! There was too much to do!



Everyone wanted to sit and rest, but not me! Let's go!



My B.B. gave me ice!





I was recharged for more wave riding!



Look at me all wet!







Grandpa, Dad, and Mom walked with me down the beach!



I got to meet lots of people and other dogs! Look at this little boy! I really wanted to mooch him!





It was like I was a rock star! Everyone wanted to pet me! Feel the love!



I felt like I was king of the mountain!



This little dog was quite a barker, though!



Mom and Dad said I couldn't go near this!



All the castles looked good enough to pounce on!



Check out this turtle!



And...others like me! A brown Boston and a black and white girl named Jada!





And...then...there he was!



I just couldn't keep away!



It was mine!



You can run but you can't hide!



My Grandpa was holding me back! I just wanted a little taste!



But...there were more!



This little dude really wasn't afraid of me!



We had a stare down!



My dad picked him up!



We finally moved on because it was time to go! I didn't want to go, but Grandpa wanted to get back to watch the US Open! I was pretty pooped anyways! Dad and Mom washed me off good! It was the worst part! Cold water!



Then, we loaded up and I settled in for a long nap. I was worn out! They stopped to eat, but I just slept! When we got home we all got down on the grass and enjoyed the sunshine! Notice I found the shade behind Dad!



Then, I assumed my position under Grandpa's chair while he watched golf! I was beat!

What an awesome Father's Day! It was all about me!
