Ok, inquiring minds would like to know (and I forgot to ask in my last comment) -- are the curls CP, too? Or do you make them from glycerin and embed? And if so, how do you keep them from melting when the soap heats up? Or doesn't it? I don't make CP -- I just read about it.
I'm an artist (so I claim), a wife (try hard to be a great one), a mother (to my fur-child), a gardener (love to get my hands dirty), a papercrafter (love all things paper), a sewer (still learning), a soapmaker, and a mountain biker (in the process). I have tons of interests and couldn't narrow it down to blog about one thing in particular, so I decided to blog about everything I love. My life is GREAT! I love my husband, my dynamo (Jeff), with all my heart. He makes me a better person everyday. Our trusty steed, Lexi (a Boston Terrier), who this blog was named after, passed away at 10.5 years old in February, 2012. We brought home Charlie, a Boston Terrier, now 5 years old, in March of 2012. He's the light of our lives and we are so blessed. There's so little time and so much to learn and do. Posted on this site are my adventures and I want to share them with you! I hope you'll stick around to see what my life is all about! Thanks for visiting!

I bought lemon/blueberry scones at our local farmers' market this weekend. Yum, indeed!
